Annual Reunion 2022

 The OYMH 2022 Reunion Meeting was held on Sunday 9/25/22 at 2PM  and featured "A Mystery in The Woods" by Tom Robbins

A MYSTERY IN THE WOODS     

was presented by TOM ROBBINS, on his work researching and documenting the complicated history of Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground, located only a few miles from the OYMH.  He says that the “… story I wrote about this journey uses newspapers, deeds, genealogies and personal contact with trustee descendants to guide the reader through the burial ground’s long history as a witness to the changing landscape of Upper Freehold Township….”

Mr. Robbins, who has multiple ancestors buried in the Robbins Burial Ground, was born in Newark, NJ and currently lives in Maryland.  His interest in genealogy began as the result of a high school class assignment and now occupies much of his retirement time.  He is a Navy veteran and retired photographer and software engineer, with a Masters of Science in Computer Systems Management.  We are excited to have him and know his presentation will be fascinating!
