The Old Yellow Meeting House was open for visitors for this year's WEEK-END IN OLD MONMOUTH, on Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th .
The Annual Reunion was held featuring the presentation of "A MYSTERY IN THE WOODS" by TOM ROBBINS. In his talk he detailed his work researching and documenting the complicated history of Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground, located only a few miles from the OYMH. In his words, the “… story I wrote about this journey uses newspapers, deeds, genealogies and personal contact with trustee descendants to guide the reader through the burial ground’s long history as a witness to the changing landscape of Upper Freehold Township….”
The 102nd Anniversary service was held. The speaker was Rev. April Van Ness (of Memorial Baptist Church in Yardville). Her sermon was titled “Honor, Celebrate, Anticipate”. Gordon Gunzelman provided the music and Bonnie Gunzelman directed a choir made up of members from First Baptist Church of Allentown, NJ and Memorial Baptist Church of Yardville, NJ. Other participants in the service incuded Wayne Ervin, Eileen Kreiling, Rev. Leslie Martin, and Rev. Staton Bentley.

the 100th Anniversary service was held. Following the service, Mr. Christian Johnson presented a professional portrayal of Rev.David Jones (First pastor of the Upper Freehold Church). Mr. Johnson has been a member of the prestigious American Historical Theater since 1989. He has portrayed Abraham Lincoln, William Penn Francis Hopkinson, Gov. William A. Newell and others.
Charlie Zahm Concert 8/18/24
Charlie, a popular balladeer of Celtic & Early American music, returned to provide another rousing performance and evoking the history of the Meeting House. The performance was held on Sunday August 18th at 6:00 pm.
